Artist statement: This is an oil painting of a view along the Eastkill River in New York. The seagulls were added later to provide some action in the painting. As an admirer of the Hudson River artists I looked for places that had some atmosphere in the background.

$1,200.00

Artist statement: Visiting Hanging Rock State Park in North Carolina, we hiked down hundreds of steps to see this oasis called Lower Cascade Falls. What a vision to see the sun flickering like gold flecks in the shallow pool of water. It was such a peaceful spot and well worth the climb back up to capture this view and paint it in oil.
Specific medium: oil on canvas

Artist statement: The blue teapot with gold detailing, and the antique Tiffany Steuben art glass plate and small vases are family treasures captured in this still life. The arrangement was enhanced with favorite fruits which add pops of color and beautiful reflections in the glass vases.

Selected for Exhibition
Artist statement: The inspiration picture for this painting was taken on a freezing February day, when Earle Road Beach in Harwichport, MA, was all but abandoned. The ocean was such a deep blue and the waves dramatic. It was great day to view the power of nature.

Artist statement: Art is a 3-way communication between the artist, his work and the viewer. A photographer uses his artistic vision to place a frame around a scene in order to say to the viewer "Look what I see here". He will then use whatever technical skills he has at his disposal to emphasize his vision of the scene. In my photography I prefer to not change the integrity of the scene through the addition or removal of parts of the photo, but rather through emphasizing or lessening contrast, saturation and s
