THIS WEB GALLERY SHOWS ALL SUBMITTED ARTWORK.  ARTWORK SELECTED BY OUR JURORS FOR EXHIBITION AND PUBLISHING ARE NOTED.

Artist statement: There is a quote that reads, “My soul speaks in flowers.” This quote is so true for me as my favorite subject to photograph is flowers, specifically dahlias. Capturing the beauty of an individual flower allows me to express my feelings when there are no words. Photography allows me to capture fleeting moments and beauty that might otherwise go unnoticed.

Artist statement: While visiting an old historic church in Montreal I spotted this sparrow overlooking some restoration construction in the churchyard. It seemed to understand the work that needed to be done.

Artist statement: The setting of this house at the perimeter of the marsh and the way the light was hitting it reminded me of Edward Hopper's paintings. The small row boats in the foreground provided the finishing touch.

Artist statement: The Adirondack region of upstate New York is famous for its lakes, ponds, and mountains. This particular pond in Willsboro, NY is one that I am fortunate to visit regularly. It is particularly serene in the off-season.

Artist statement: I was at a well-known fish ladder in Winchester, MA where herons gather to fish and photographers gather to photograph them. This heron amused me as he was less interested in the fish than in getting a drink.

Artist statement: Farmer's Markets have a wonderful variety of subjects to paint ! I love the colors, shapes, and forms of the vegetables and fruits locally grown. Watercolor lends itself to painting these wonderful things from nature.
