Selected for Exhibition Artist statement: There is a quote that reads, “My soul speaks in flowers.” This quote is so true for me as my favorite subject to photograph is flowers, specifically dahlias. Capturing the beauty of an individual flower allows me to express my feelings when there are no words. Photography allows me to capture fleeting moments and beauty that might otherwise go unnoticed.
