Artist statement: My subjects are usually seascapes, landscapes, and still life. I paint in oils and watercolors. I often paint plein air because it combines two of my favorite things: painting and being outdoors. My landscapes tend towards impressionism and illuminism. I am inspired by the Cape Cod School of Art and Impressionists. My still life painting is a classical approach of realism usually painted with grisaille underpainting, glazing, and chiaroscuro effects. For me, it is always about light and color.

Artist statement: Having a lifelong fascination with the intricacies and beauty of nature, I find joy in bringing my subjects to life with fine detail, color and texture, and strive for realism in my art. Over the many years that I have been creating art, I have learned to use many different types media, allowing me to choose which will best portray the subject of each work.

Artist statement: My love of vintage neon signage dates back to the days when my commercial art job was as a sign painter for retailers, developers and film and television productions in the Boston area. I don't letter actual signs any longer, but you can often find them appearing in my fine art oil paintings.

Artist statement: At 18 I suffered a hemmodragic stroke on ice during a hockey game. Lucky and blessed to have pulled through, and it was a camera there’s handed to me instead of a hockey stick after my rehabilitation.. I immediately fell in love. Went to cooked to study photography as a minor, and now am and now am a professional landscape photographer
