Don’t Cry Over Spilt Milk
Ellen Gould
$450.00

Artist statement: This painting was inspired by the saying “ Don’t Cry Over Spilt Milk”. I wondered how I could set up a still life to express this saying and found that It was fun. The small white pitcher is magically captured as it accidentally spills milk. The chocolate crème cookies are in danger of getting soggy. We are reminded not to worry over events that have happened because there is always the possibility of a happy ending.
